I took some pictures at the Discovery Center this evening, hoping that the slanting evening light would give some contrast to what is usually a mush of foliage. I got a few interesting things, still without much contrast as the trees blocked most of the direct sun. But what I got I'm calling "field studies".

OK these are not paintings. They are trading cards I did for the Hallmarker ATC which I occasionally participate in. http://kcatc.blogspot.com/ The photos though are images I use in my metal leaf drawings. So they are a sort of sketches for potential larger works.
